Located across the street from beach access, this charming home has all new furnishings in the living room, dining room, as well as the three bedrooms. Custom curtains or shutters occupy each window...although you will probably never want to close them, and hide the view. Sunshine filters through the many windows of the house, allowing you to enjoy the mild California climate year round.

This 1,600 sq foot home offers three bedrooms and three baths, two bedrooms with queen-size beds in the main house, and the third bedroom, which has a separate, private entrance, with twin beds, this home offers unique flexibility to its guests. For a live-in nanny, or two young teenagers, this separate bedroom/bath offers an extra bit of privacy.

The panoramic ocean view fills the living room and sunroom, with an enviable view from the kitchen, as well. In the living room, after enjoying the ocean view and observing the kayakers, during the day, you may want to watch a movie on the flat-screen television, or "log-on" to the internet and check your email. This home has wireless internet service, as well as an iPod docking station with CD player.

On the other hand, you may be inclined to use the gas barbecue outside in the back yard, dining al fresco at the spacious outside dining table. Cut some of the roses in the yard to place by your nightstand, or pick a fresh avocado from the trees during summer months. Don't forget to bring along your 4-legged family member, too. With the enclosed, grassy backyard, "Max or Maxine" will enjoy La Jolla Shores as much as you! Pets are always welcomed at this inviting home.

The kitchen features a one-of-a-kind tile bar and a working gas fireplace where friends and family can gather after a day at the beach. Microwave oven and a full-size dish washer are part of the conveniences found in the kitchen. Open the cabinet doors in the dining room, and watch the "big game" on another one of the flat screen televisions. The hardwood and tile floors throughout offer easy beach (and pet) maintenance; and this home's unique architectural design will bring you back time after time.

You can sleep six people comfortably in this house. In the spacious master bedroom, there's a new queen bed, armoire, side table, a comfy chair for reading, closet, and adjoining bathroom. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and adjoining second bathroom. The third bedroom is detached from the main house with a private access from the enclosed backyard. This room offers two twin beds, a flat screen television with full cable channels, dvd player and a private bathroom. All bed and bath linens/towels are provided, of course. A full-size washer and dryer are available on the premises for your convenience.

Located on Spindrift Drive, this home is just one block away from the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club. Easy beach access is available one-half block from the house, by using the public walkway next to the the Marine Room restaurant. Also, if you feel like taking a 10-minute walk to Avenida de la Playa, you will find a number of restaurants, shops, a grocery store, and even a place to rent a kayak. This home is close enough to the hustle and bustle of activity surrounding the "Shores," yet far enough away to enjoy a book peacefully in the backyard, while listening to the outdoor fountain.

And if you're into swimming, surfing, body-boarding, or kayaking, take no more than 50 steps from your front door to the white sand and ocean, that has consistently ranked La Jolla Shores as one of the top beaches in Southern California.
